The Protekt Aire 6000 is a premium therapeutic mattress combining alternating pressure and low-air-loss therapies to both redistribute pressure and maintain skin dryness for patients at risk of pressure ulcers (Stages I–IV). Its cell-on-cell design ensures continuous support even during power loss by holding air in the lower cells.

Dual Therapy with Power-Out Safety

This mattress combines alternating pressure and low air loss therapies to actively prevent and treat pressure ulcers (stages I–IV). Its innovative cell-on-cell design includes a bottom static layer that remains inflated during power interruptions, ensuring patient support even if the top layer deflates.

Smart Pump Features for Customized Care

The included digital pump delivers adjustable alternating cycles 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes alongside Seat-Inflate, Auto Firm, and Static modes to adapt to patient positioning and needs. It also features audible and visual alarms for low pressure, power failures, and alternating failures.

The mattress top is quilted and fluid-resistant with laser-cut ventilation holes to manage moisture and increase comfort. It supports patients up to 450 pounds and includes a CPR rapid-deflate valve and optional raised side edges for added safety.

Memory foam offers pressure relief and motion isolation; innerspring provides bounce and breathability; latex is durable and naturally hypoallergenic. If you’re sensitive to chemicals or off-gassing, look for CertiPUR-US or GOTS/GOLS-certified models.

Most quality mattresses are designed to perform well for 8–10 years. Signs of need for replacement include sagging, persistent discomfort, allergies, or disrupted sleep. Regular rotation (every 3–6 months) can help extend lifespan.
