Memory foam offers pressure relief and motion isolation; innerspring provides bounce and breathability; latex is durable and naturally hypoallergenic. If you’re sensitive to chemicals or off-gassing, look for CertiPUR-US or GOTS/GOLS-certified models.

Most quality mattresses are designed to perform well for 8–10 years. Signs of need for replacement include sagging, persistent discomfort, allergies, or disrupted sleep. Regular rotation (every 3–6 months) can help extend lifespan.
