AtmosAir® 9000X Hybrid Pressure-Redistribution Mattress

The AtmosAir 9000X is a non-powered hybrid therapeutic mattress designed to help prevent and manage pressure injuries in hospitals, long-term care, and home settings. It features nine interconnected air cells with visco-elastic foam tops and firm foam bases that automatically redistribute air using the ARM® (Air Redistribution Module) system, adjusting to the user’s movements. A 6° heel slope reduces heel pressure, while a firm foam perimeter improves safety and support for getting in and out of bed.

Dedicated Support

Choose based on room size and personal sleeping needs. A twin works for one person or small spaces, while queen or king sizes are ideal for couples or more stretch. Always measure your bedroom and bed frame before buying to ensure proper fit.

Memory foam offers pressure relief and motion isolation; innerspring provides bounce and breathability; latex is durable and naturally hypoallergenic. If you’re sensitive to chemicals or off-gassing, look for CertiPUR-US or GOTS/GOLS-certified models.

Most quality mattresses are designed to perform well for 8–10 years. Signs of need for replacement include sagging, persistent discomfort, allergies, or disrupted sleep. Regular rotation (every 3–6 months) can help extend lifespan.

Mattress warranties typically cover manufacturing defects (e.g., sagging, broken coils) but not comfort objections or minor wear. Installing a mattress protector is wise since stains often void warranties. Consider adding a protection plan for coverage beyond the standard period.
